Who is Fun Reminder

Hi, I'm Mieke

I help organisations, schools and healthcare settings make healthy behaviour easy. I do that with small cues in the right place. That is called nudging, and it works because it fits how people really make decisions.

Where I come from

I worked as a speech therapist for fifteen years. That taught me how behaviour changes: in small steps, through repetition, and above all when it is fun. Later I moved into policy and coordination roles in care networks and education. I saw how often good plans stay on paper.

Today I work as a health strategist and longevity coach. Together with Prof. Dr. Koen Kas I co-founded Longevity be-MINE in Beringen, Belgium. With Fun Reminder I turn what I know about behaviour and health into tools you can use straight away.

What Fun Reminder does

  • For organisations: downloads and actions that make workplace wellbeing concrete, from movement and nutrition to focus and stress.
  • For schools: playful reminders that make healthy choices visible for teachers and pupils.
  • For care teams: small nudges that fit a busy working day.
  • For you: posters, mugs and clothing with a quote that gives you a daily nudge.

Work together?

Want to use nudging in your organisation, school or team? I am happy to give a workshop, a talk or a tailored programme.

She is also personally committed to creating a healthy, independent, and balanced life for herself and her children, while pursuing professional opportunities that combine health, innovation, and connection.
